FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR GETTING BOOKED?

When bookings open, in person consultations* are preferred. We have found that sitting down one on one and going over your ideas and references in person gives us both the opportunity to narrow down the perfect design for you. During this time, getting a picture of the area to be tattooed makes for a truly custom fit (when applicable). It also gives you a chance to meet the artist and get to know them better. After the consult, you will decide on a date for the actual tattoo appointment and a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit DOES go toward the final cost of the tattoo.

*Consultations are held between 12pm and 1pm, Tuesday - Saturday

WHY A DEPOSIT AND WHY IS IT NON-REFUNDABLE?

The deposit secures your appointment date as well as the time taken to create your tattoo. All tattoos are completely custom and drawn on the artist's own time. In return, this means if you cannot make your appointment and an artist has drawn for you (usually 2 - 5 hours) they are compensated for this time. As stated earlier, the deposit DOES go toward the end cost of the tattoo.

WILL I SEE A DRAWING BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT?

Drawings are not given out before appointments. Usually, the artist draws the night before or day of for the appointment. This is the main reason for not receiving a drawing early. The next reason is to prevent a design being taken somewhere else at the expense of the artists time creating the project. That being said, there will always be time set aside in the appointment for design changes. You will never be forced to wear something you're not in love with!

WHAT DO YOU USE FOR AFTERCARE?

We use Saniderm. Unless you are sensitive to adhesives, which is rare, then other aftercare instructions will be given after the tattoo.

Saniderm is a polyurethane acrylic adhesive medical bandage used to protect and heal your tattoo better and more efficiently than traditional methods. Saniderm is part of the tattoo experience and will be provided free and with instruction after the tattoo.
